To create an Equestrian Centre where committed individuals can transform themselves from riders to successful athletes and competitors in equine related disciplines, with first class facilities available to them.

Menilden Farm is a place where owners can feel confident in the care provided to their horses with modern, safe facilities offered to everyone who attends property.

We offer quality agistment, superior training and a long term focus on creating an events and competition destination in North Queensland.

We aim to foster a positive experience for all involved in Menilden Farm.

FACILITY HIRE AT MENILDEN FARM

Located at 203 Collinsville Road, Bowen, our property facilities are available to hire on an hourly or package rate.

AGISTMENT AT MENILDEN FARM

All Agistees have full use of:

  • Covered indoor 24m x 61m

  • Led floodlit arena

  • Capricorn Equestrian Ebb n Flow with Soiltex surface

  • Covered washing bays

  • Saddle and tie up bays

  • Lockable tack room

  • Lockable feed room

  • Fridge with cold water and soft drinks

  • Onsite assistance

  • Checks of your horse daily

Available in the Menilden Farm Client Flat:

  • Tea and Coffee facilities

  • Shower and Toilet

FULL SERVICE AGISTMENT 
Below with PRIVATE paddock - $30.00 per day
Below with SHARED paddock - $28.00 per day

  • 2 hard feeds per day with quality feed from the Pryde's EasiFeed range

  • Private or share paddock (depending on above choice) with electric fence (turn out into grass paddocks on a rotational basis)

  • Yard for turn in at night/day* (hay provided)

  • Seasonal Rugs and fly masks put on and taken off*

  • Round bale hay fed per day

  • Supplements to be added to feed **

  • Yards cleaned twice daily

  • All other services are considered optional - price list below

 

* At owners request or management discretion;

** To be supplied by the owner

SEMI SERVICE AGISTMENT
Below with PRIVATE paddock - $26.00 per day
Below with SHARED paddock - $21.50 per day

● All services as listed in the Full Service however the owner supplies the feed

● All other services are considered optional - price list below

SELF CARE AGISTMENT
Grass paddock SHARED - $14.00 per day

● Grass paddock shared with up to 5 other horses

● No hard feed option available

● All other services are considered optional

*If you choose to rug your horse on any of the shared agistment options, PVS Training is not responsible if your

horses rug becomes damaged.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

● Arena Lights - $10 per 2hr period

● Rug Washing - $2 per cycle (inc. for Full Service Agisters)

● Worming - $35

● Rugging on/off - $3.00 per day (inc. for Full Service Agisters)

● Stable for AM or PM - $15.00 per 24hr period (subject to availability)

● Holding your horse for third party visits (i.e. Farrier) - $15.00 per hr

● Farrier - POA

● Dentist - POA

● Therapeutic visits - POA

● Veterinary Care - POA

Optional extras must be paid for at the time of booking unless prior arrangements has been made with the service

provider.
