PVS TRAINING

 

Based at Menilden Farm in Bowen QLD, PVS Training has been in operation since 2008 under the guidance of Pamela Kingwill (nee Schuler).

Our mission is to inspire excellence with a commitment to quality horse care, instruction and superior training. We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment where horses, riders and trainers develop a true partnership and friendship. This bond rewards us with a sound foundation in horsemanship and success in the competition arena.

GENERAL RIDING AND DRESSAGE LESSONS

We Specialize In:
  • Coaching, mentoring and confidence building for Dressage

  • Beginners and Schoolmaster lessons

  • Empathetic horse education and rider knowledge

Coaching:
  • Coaching of riders towards having effective use of aids through correct rider position

  • Complete Adult or Children beginners

  • School holiday clinics, with or without your own horse/pony.

  • Competition workshops & bootcamps

  • FEI Schoolmaster lessons (at certain times of the year)

Pamela Kingwill (FEI Dressage Rider, Trainer and EA Coach) and her staff are available to give you private one on one lessons with your horse or one of our trained school horses.

Whether you are after competition preparation, confidence building, creating a harmonious partnership with your equine friend in general riding and dressage - WE CAN HELP!

 

We have 1/2hr or 45min lessons designed to help the riders depth of knowledge increase and leave you feeling that you have a step by step plan to help you work towards achieving your equestrian goals.

 

Lessons are professionally run and designed to improve your ability, refinement of rider aids, help towards development of knowledge, creating a harmonious partnership with your equine friend plus much more.

PRICING
 

  • With your own horse  - $75.00 (45 min)

  • With one of our school horses - $85.00 (1 hr)

  • FEI schoolmaster lessons - $120.00 (45 min)

HORSE TRAINING

  • Would you like your horse to learn the movements of the next level of dressage from a more experience rider?

  • Do you have a young or green horse that needs a solid basic foundation of education added?

  • Are you going on vacation and want to keep your competition horse in shape while you are gone?

A training school might be the perfect solution!

Your horse stays at PVS Training & Equine Services and receives a minimum of 'four' training sessions per week. At a very reasonable price, you can have piece of mind knowing that your horse is having the best care and attention paid to not only them but to their education by experienced trainers and riders.

Horse Training

We offer discounts for long-term training and direct debit options, please contact us to discuss.

COST PER WEEK: TRAIN AND BOARD

Full board and training (PVS Training to supply the feed)

  • PVS Stable Rider to train (under head-trainer guidance) - $390.00

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS

These can be arranged at the owners expense. A handling fee of $40.00 per appointment will be charged where staff of PVS Training are required to assist with your horse.

ABOUT PAMELA KINGWILL

 

Pamela Kingwill, the heart and soul behind, PVS Training is herself a prolific rider and has won numerous professional championships and placings in Dressage. Being a member of the QLD State Dressage Squad in 2012 & 2013 and 2019 QLD State Regional Talent Squad and over a decade of field experience, Pamela knows that quality service and training sets the business apart from the competition.

Pamela has been involved with horses since the young age of 3 when she was attending Pony Club and quickly gained success in all olympic disciples before discovering her passion for Dressage. In 2003 she moved to the UK to further pursue her learning and over a period of 2 years Pamela progressed extensively; gaining valuable knowledge of the industry and professional riding and training under the guidance of Vicki Thompson.

Returning to Australia, Pamela has held many positions in equine operations including the Belcam Stud, and has gained personal success competing numerous horses from Preliminary level to FEI Dressage.  She commenced operations under PVS Training in 2008 and the business has grown in strength to present day.

Pamela has a passion for running her business with a 'quality over quantity' mindset, always remaining safety conscious, encouraging riders of all levels to be the best they can be, and looking at horse and property ownership holistically.
